Who owns Back Be Nimble?
A career change induced by an auto accident led Dr. Brad Lustick to apply his ergonomic and wellness expertise to the world of business, whereby he began customizing ergonomic concepts and products to fit the needs of people in all walks of life. After being inspired by a book about the "Information Superhighway", and quite a bit of perspiration, he and his wife, Rose pioneered retail on the internet in 1994 with "Back Be Nimble", one of the very first internet businesses.

Does Back Be Nimble offer product repair service or part replacement on products they sell?
No, I'm sorry we do not offer warranty or repair service. Our 30 day return policy covers defects on all products we sell, but beyond that term, all service and or parts are covered under the specific manufacturer's warranty. Although most of our products will come with all pertinent manufacturer contact info, we will gladly assist our customers to obtain warranty and appropriate contact information for a specific product. We do not however offer our vendor/manufacturer list or contact information to anyone who has not purchased such product directly from Back Be Nimble.

Is there financing available?
On our final checkout page, you may choose to pay by PayPal. PayPal offers Zero Interest if paid in full in 6 months on purchases of $99 or more. Customers without a PayPal account may apply for a credit account. If credit amount granted is insufficient for your purchase, contact us and we will facilitate a partial payment via PayPal with the balance handled by a major credit card. How can I know what shipping costs will be?
Shipping costs are presented in the shopping cart while you shop. You may see such by adding any product to a shopping cart(you are under no obligation to buy). Shipping costs are also be displayed during checkout process at such time you will choose between all available shipping options for shipping to your destination.

Many products have free shipping and you will generally see that advertised in the order form portion of each specific product page. Again, total shipping costs will always be reflected during the shopping process by viewing your shopping cart.

Many of our products are shipped for us directly from the manufacturer or perhaps our wholesale supplier, but even so, the total cost of shipping will always be reflected in your shopping cart view.

Does Back Be Nimble offer shipping internationally?
Yes, however, due to prevalent cases of fraudulent transactions for orders placed from some countries outside the USA, we scrutinize such very carefully. After the transaction is complete, we evaluate the validity of the order and will either fulfill it, or reject and refund the transaction. Please note that in order to see the shipping costs pertaining to orders outside the USA, you must change your ship to destination in your shopping cart by selecting the pull down list of countries. For orders from Canada, please checkout using the PayPal process because our regular credit card processor (Authorize.net) does not process credit cards with Canadian billing addresses. The PayPal process accepts all major credit cards from USA or Canada.

By what methods does Back Be Nimble ship orders?
All items warehoused and shipped from Back Be Nimble are shipped via the USPS parcel post service by default with upgrades to either 2-3 Day Priority Mail or Express Mail as an option. Please note they we no longer utilize Airborne Express. About 75% of our popular items are now conveniently shipped directly from our suppliers/manufacturers on our behalf. Various methods may be utilized by these suppliers, but UPS ground and/or Fedex are the most common carriers. For large items like beds, hydromassage tables and roller massage tables, they are shipped by LTL truck common freight carriers, most often for curbside delivery (unless other upgraded delivery arrangements are made).

Inventory in stock at Back Be Nimble will be shipped within 24 hours and arrive 3-6 working days from time of order. Those items shipped for us by our suppliers (i.e. drop shipped), will sometimes take 24-48 hours to ship and take from 4-9 days to receive. If you find that your order doesn't arrive in a timely fashion then, please contact us and we will trace the shipment status of your order..

Shipping Times and Schedules, and reasons for delays
Our best efforts are made to ship your orders A.S.A.P. There are however exceptions beyond our control:

Processing Delays: At times the processing of the financial transaction could be delayed due to (1) credit card decline, or (2) inability to verify a billing address that matches your bank's records.
Shipment Delays & Backorders: sometimes products are 'unexpectedly', found to be out of stock. Although, we try our best to make sure any items you order are actually in stock, occasionally, we find that either our warehouse, or that of a manufacturer responsible for shipping the order is 'unexpectedly' out of stock due to an inventory mis-count. In such cases we will immediately contact you to determine the most satisfactory solution to fulfilling the order for you.
Price Matching Delays: orders placed for which you are requesting that we price match with another vendor may delay fulfillment until we can at least verify that vendors advertised retail price and 'in stock' status.
Other Factors for Delays: war, postal or airline strikes, holidays, or acts of God could also delay an order.

Normal Ship Times - DOMESTIC

First Class Mail: most of our small in stock items, by default, are shipped via First Class Mail. U.S. mail shipments of in stock items will ship on the first working day within 24 hours of your order and should arrive within 3-6 working days. If orders have not arrived within that time, then please contact us for a status update.

USPS Priority Mail: as an optional selection, you may elect to have your package arrive within 2-3 days (Sundays and Holidays excepted).

NOTE: All orders shipped directly from us will be processed on the same working day if received prior to 1:00pm (MT). If received on a non-working day or holiday, or after 1:00pm (MT), then your order will be processed on the next consecutive working day.

Oversize or Overweight Items: Many of our large items, including recliners, mattresses, chairs, adjustable beds and therapy tables are drop shipped from the manufacturers and not subject to the times specified above for smaller items. Since these items are usually custom made to order, shipment times will vary from 1 week to 8 weeks depending on the item. Most of these items have estimated shipping times indicated in the products notes at the bottom of those specific products page and such info will show on emailed paid copy of your order.

Normal Ship Times--INTERNATIONALLY

Small, non-dropped shipped items: Most of our smaller products are stocked in our warehouse and shipped by us via Postal Service to all parts of the world. Unless out of stock, lead times are generally from 4-21 working days depending on your geographic location (does not include U.S. holidays or weekends). We do not calculate nor prepay customs taxes, duties and or import fees. You will be responsible to pay these to your customs broker or government agency in order to receive your package. Packages unclaimed due to your determination of unsatisfactory customs duties, may incur storage, return shipping and/or restocking fees from Back Be Nimble.

LARGE ITEMS LIKE CHAIRS, THERAPEUTIC TABLES, RECLINERS AND BEDS: Most of these products may be shipped to USA and Canada only. For shipments outside the USA (Canada), items have shipping charges that are calculated for you after you proceed to checkout and enter your shipping destination (prior to giving us your credit card information). If there are cases upon which we can not give you an accurate price in our shopping process, we reserve the right to contact you with an exact shipping price prior to shipment. If this is unsatisfactory to you, then you of course will receive a refund of all charges. Large items will generally be shipped via Air Freight with a carrier that best fits the needs for price and satisfactory service. Most of the time, we can offer delivery to your residence or business, but there are cases in which only airport delivery can be provided.

What methods of payment does Back Be Nimble accept?
We accept all major credit cards: Mastercard, Visa, Discover, American Express, Governmental and Corporate Purchase cards. We also accept Checks by mail. Of course, you can use Back Be Nimble Gift Certificates either alone or in combination with any other form of payment.

NEW -- PayPal members can also use their PayPal accounts to pay for their purchases online. Non-members, may pay with major credit cards or may apply for PayPal credit during the checkout process after our checkout process transfers you to the PayPal server.

Can I Mail or Fax my credit card order instead of putting my credit card information online?
Yes - If you are uneasy with online payment, just shop as normal - adding items that you would like to purchase to your shopping cart. Then, when you are ready to checkout, simply go to the Checkout page and click the button in the section labeled "Fax/Postal Order Form." This will lead you through generating a printable invoice. Once there, simply print a paper copy of the invoice, fill in any other required payment information by hand and either FAX or MAIL the completed paper copy to us using the phone number or physical address listed on the paper invoice.

My insurance says they might pay, do you accept insurance or workers' compensation?
We are not equipped to accept any insurance assignment whereby we would ship a product prior to payment. However, we do have many customers who work with their insurance adjusters/agents to prepay orders for some of our larger items like; chairs, recliners, mattresses and adjustable beds. Most of the time, our customers will purchase items directly and then turn in the paid invoice and doctor's prescription to seek re-imbursement.
